Classification) Rotuma is located in the southern hemisphere. to the north we have Tuvalu, to the east we have Samoa, to the south we have Fiji, and to the west we have Vanuatu.

(Description) There is a population of less than 3000 people living in rotuman. There is a current population of 2,871 and most of them live in  Fiji making a total of 10,000 people.

The two languages that are spoken are Rotuma and English and sadly the culture is endangered. There are now only 15,000 people speaking the language around the world.

(Conclusion)The Rotuman language can now teach how to never take advantage of our own culture because you never know how long your culture will be there.
