A day in the life of a crayfish



This week you are going to be writing about the day in the life of a creature from the rocky shore. You will need to plan your ideas before you begin writing. Fill in the table below before you begin writing:






What is your rocky shore creature?

Crayfish.


Where on the rocky shore does your creature life?

On under the rocks.


What does your rocky shore creature do when the tide is in?

He goes home and wait until the tide is out.


What does your rocky shore creature do when the tide is out?

He goes to see if there are any crabs laying around on the shore.


What does your rocky shore creature eat?

He eat crab.


What does your rocky shore creature need to look out for? (Who eats them)

He needs to look out for octopus.

Start writing here: Once upon a time there lived a crayfish. When ever the tide is in he just sits in his home and wait for the tide to go out. When the tide is out that the only time he will come out of his house see if there are any crabs laying around on the shoreline. But when can’t see properly he wil go in closer but he has to look out for octopuses. If there are no crabs he will go and hide behind rocks and wait until he sees a crab as soon as he sees a crab he will jump out with his big claws and kill it. When kills the crab he will carry it home and lay it on floor and eat it all to himself. When the crab is finished he will stand up and go outside for some fresh breeze.
