Designing a sport
WALT organise and sequence our ideas.
WALT seek feedback and make changes to our writing.
Your task: You are going to be designing your own sport, using the instructions from the youtube video.
Use our word bank and word walls in the class to help you with words to use in your writing.
Write
Equipment:
What materials/things do you need for your sport?
A rugby ball a football.
Setting:
Where can your game be played?
At the field
Players:
How many players are needed? How many teams are there?
10 each.
Competition/ Cooperation:
Explain how the players have to cooperate. Explain how the players compete.
The players compete by being in the team and working as a team.
Instructions:
Explain the rules of your game so that someone else could know how to play it.
1 There are no high tackles.
2 There are no fight.
3 You can only tackle below the niplles.
4 You have to do a kick at the start of the game.
5 You have to throw the ball over the gold post to get a points.
Objective/ Goal:
What is the goal of your game? How do players win?
The goal of my game is to try to win and work as a team.
WRITE a task description
Write a short paragraph telling your blog readers what the task was for this week.The task for this week was to make up our own sport with our needed equipment.
What did you learn? I learnt that you can make up your own sport.
